A self-taught artist, Donna has been drawing for as long as she can remember. She began painting portraits with pastels when she was 16. Donna later experimented with acrylic paints and found this was the medium for her. She have been on an artistic journey over the last couple of years. Beginning with portraits, later she found an interest in decorative art, murals and faux painting. Currently she is painting murals and faux in addition to acrylic painting. As an artist she enjoys portraing vibrance and the joy of life in her paintings. Giving one a sense of escape……….. to feel, truly see, to live life as it should be experienced. In our hectic lives it is easy to exist and not truly live. In her current painting series the mood of the viewer is heightened with vibrant colors and desirable locations. The mood is further enhanced with texture, the use of iridescent and florescent paints. Donna's paintings are enhanced acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. Paintings extend to all 4 sides, no need to frame. She have several Painting series available for review. In addition to the original Paintings are S&N Limited Edition Giclees , complete with Certificates of Authenticity.
